To share an item, click the sharing icon. The item will be added to your public page.

This would be helpful if there actually was a ‘sharing icon’ in my Google Reader. I feel like I’m going crazy because I’ve been looking for the icon for more than a few minutes now and I just don’t see the ‘sharing icon’. (Apparently, I’m not the only one since a few people commented on that help page - click the comment icon to see.)

Note this is supposed to be different than the +1 button.

I also don’t see how to comment on a Google Reader item.
